Twilight Earth

Twilight Earth ponders the question of whether or not our civilization, and even our planet, are entering their twilight. After some years of denying and ignoring the problem, we are getting back on the right track, but is it too late? When will we learn that while we can’t control everything, we sure can be ignorant and destructive. As ever, one can take whatever meaning from artwork. Is it just a pretty scene? Or are there deeper meanings? So much of my artwork leans toward the environment, but it IS also meant to be a beautiful tableau. I don’t always start with an idea, I sit down to work, get into the flow, and at some point, a theme reveals itself. Quite often those themes are envirnonmental, romantic as in telling a story, whimsical, or pertaining to wildlife, which often circles back to the environment.
