Winter Closing In

Winter Closing In was created in early December, in anticipation of winter’s arrival in the Northern Hemisphere. Icy textures and embossed designs dwell under modern geometric patterns with multiple golden frames and some wayward glitter. An exiting butterfly and entering ribbons entwined with a juniper branch tell that the holidays are nearing. The round multiple gold frame shows the last bit of unfrozen water with a singular drop, almost like a crystal ball that is revealing the past instead of the future. The edges are starting to freeze; there is no going back now.
