The objective here was to bring out some of the detail in the seat and other parts, and brighten things up a bit. The image was left a little lighter than what was desired in print, as is customary with image correction.

The missing portion of the wheel in the foreground was reconstructed. The entire chair had to be masked to remove the wrinkled background and harsh shadow. A light, slightly vignetted background replaced the wrinkled version, and a soft fading shadow was added to ground the chair.
