Tulip Spice

These three Tulip Spice illustrations began as vector art drawn in Illustrator, with two different arrangements: one as a bouquet in a tiny vase and the other as a meandering layout. Most of my vector art is done with the pen tool unless I want something more irregular looking. I use other tools but rarely ever “vectorize” or “auto-trace”. (I call it auto-trace because true image trace was available in Flash when Macromedia had it. The quality of that image-trace process has remained unmatched in its current location.)

Lots of vector brushes and clipping masks were used for these Tulip Spice pieces. There may be a possibility of a mini collection, but because of the masks, it will likely end up in Photoshop.
