Sandy Jet Sandblast Cabinets

PHOTO RETOUCHING

This sandblast cabinet needed some reflection on its lid, some transparency to see inside, as well as some definition on the edges of the cabinet itself. This was a fairly straightforward retouching job, but the color matching was key in this case.

The color had to be matched to the large cabinet shown in the grouping. When products are photographed at different times, it is almost impossible to match the lighting perfectly. Sometimes one object must be color matched to another.

These were output to film. Later, a layout was created for an ad that appeared in the Matco 20th Anniversary Issue of Professional Tool & Equipment News.

Fleece Garments

Below, the fleece garments had to be color matched as well, as is shown on the left side of the image. On the right side, we see the intranet site, available only to employees, where the fleece images were used. Even though these products may not be shown on the same page most of the time, it is important to have consistency with color. I also matched the color to the actual garments as closely as possible. Of course, this is not foolproof, as there is no absolute way to predict color on all user displays, but the color of the objects will match each other very well.
