Nexus Magazine is a limited-run periodical created solely for use as a text and teaching aid for high school art students. Each issue deals with a different period in art history. The samples depicted here are from two issues of Nexus Magazine: Antigone and the Greek World, and Macbeth and the Dark Ages, as I was responsible for the page layout for these two issues. The articles were enhanced with illustrated titling and authentic pieces of decorative period art screened in the background of the text. The illustrated and photographed art was provided as slides and transparencies on loan from museums all over the world.
