Illustration of a Honda Shadow VLX, drawn in Illustrator and rendered in Photoshop.

Multiple photo references, at multiple angles, were used for accurate detail reference. Over 200 digital photos were taken to use as reference for this illustration. The drawing layers and individual paths were exported and used for masks on the rendering.

Certain modifications were made that differed from the original reference materials, such as the removal of the pillion seat and pillion pegs, along with the removal of some of the aftermarket additions.

This motorcycle illustration is licensed on various apparel and accessory items.
