Garden Breeze Illustrations

Shown here are various illustrations from my Garden Breeze Collection in the Surface Design section on this website. The first two are full illustrations, the second of which was redone to create a smaller arrangement to work as a pattern motif.

Others here are spot illustrations, but all are available for licensing. The framed trellis illustration can have the dry brush background extended if desired; it doesn’t have to be clipped by the frame. The tiles next to the watering can are also available as single illustrations on the same blue background, or with no background. All the illustrations here can be used with different backgrounds if desired, or with a transparent background. Lots of possibilities here.

The motifs started as gouache paintings. I have a process for cleaning them up in Photoshop and then I add my own painted textures, some of which have been dry-brushed and scanned, like the backgrounds here or the texture on the pink flowers. I love the painting process, and I’ve worked in Photoshop and Illustrator for so long that finishing has become second nature.
