This motorcycle illustration, also featured in the Illustration section, is sold on apparel and other merchandise like bags, drinkware and many others. It is quite popular.

The image on the iPhone screen is from one of the reference photos used to create the illustration. Over 200 digital photos were taken to use as reference. Before drawing and rendering anything, one must know what the subject looks like, preferably from multiple angles.

I was able to take a lot of photos because this is actually my bike, minus some aftermarket additions: a wind screen, crash bars, a fancier air cleaner cover, saddlebags, and my sissy bar and bag. And the beaded handlebar tassels I made. What can I say? The illustration-worthy version and the dressed-for-the-road version are just two completely different things, and I wanted something that I could put on t-shirts and other products without resorting to stock images or clip art.
