Almost a Japanese orchid, the blooms are correct, but truthfully, the foliage should be more like that of jonquils. A vine was needed for a trellis, so artistic license was invoked to combine the bloom of the Japanese orchid with the foliage and vine of a philodendron. This illustration is an enlargement of a portion of the Bacardi illustration.

This illustration is airbrush on Strathmore, with the details completed with handbrush (brush and ruler). The enlargement was done solely to emphasize the water droplets.

Eventually this illustration was scanned into Photoshop, where the soft shadow and multicolor background were added.
